During the spring 2017, Vicerectorate for International Relations organized an exciting photo contest for Erasmus students, incoming or outgoing.
The best images submitted in the contest have been displayed in an exposition. Please read the press release published on the occasion of the event.

International academic training, personal development, friendships and life-long bonds! The photos taken by you that underline the most interesting things about being an Erasmus+ student can bring you special prizes and diplomas, in a contest held by the „Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University (TUIASI), to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the first Erasmus programs at TUIAȘI.
Beloved students of our University, incoming or outgoing, if you have benefited of at least one Erasmus scholarship, completed by the 20th of February 2017, or you have arrived at TUIAȘI on such a scholarship by the 20th of February 2017, you are invited to send photographs, made with a professional camera or the one on your phone, with a short description of your Erasmus experience, to international@tuiasi.ro. You must mention the category you are applying for – incoming or outgoing student.
The rules of the competition
1. Send a message to international@tuiasi.ro with the following: the picture you want to enter in the competition (the file name must have your own name – family, then given name; if you send more than one photo, number them accordingly), the category where you want to enter the photograph (outgoing or incoming Erasmus+ student) and a short description. Incoming students must provide the name of the Faculty where they admitted during their scholarship, the study year and the country of origin. Outgoing students must provide the country where they studied and the time frame of their scholarship. At the email’s subject, all applicants must enter their name and the following – „TUIASI Erasmus 2017 Photography Contest”. You cannot submit more than three pictures in the competition.
2. Be sure not to miss the exact time to send the photographs that you took: starting on February 22, until the midnight of March 6 2017.
3. Describe as creative as you can the experience shown in the photograph, because the jury will take into consideration the originality of that description.
The jury will convene at the International Affairs Office, on the 7th and 8th of March 2017, and the winners will be announced during an event meant for all Erasmus students, which will be held a day later, on the 9th of March, at 2 pm. Also, the best photographs submitted in the contest will be displayed in an exposition that will open during the same event.
The jury will pick the best three photos from each category and the authors will receive diplomas and prizes.
By entering the contest, the participants declare that the photographs submitted belong to them and agree to their following use in presentation materials devised by TUIAȘI for the Erasmus+ program, on www.tuiasi.ro, and on the University’s social media accounts.
