SMILE – Social Meaning Impact through LLL Universities in Europe
“Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University from Iasi is a partner in the SMILE project – Social Meaning Impact through LLL Universities in Europe, coordinated by the European University Continuing Education Network – EUCEN. TUIASI promotes an inclusive environment and recognizes the value of diverse backgrounds, cultures and perspectives as a vibrant intellectual ecosystem in which all members can thrive.
We are happy to invite you to explore the diversity and inclusion specific to higher education institutions and to participate in the Symposium “Diversity in modern society – Inclusion at the heart of our universities’ strategy”, organized within the SMILE project, which will be held in a hybrid format, on November 16 of this year, in Barcelona. Registration is here.
The symposium is organized by EUCEN, the project coordinator, in collaboration with the consortium team and serves as a platform to present the universities efforts in addressing diversity and inclusion.
In a multicultural society where diversity offers a multitude of ideas, preferences, customs and viewpoints, exploring endless possibilities for learning and growth, this event comes as an opportunity to raise awareness of the importance of a key direction in the mission of universities and the role of lifelong learning (LLL) in embracing diversity and encouraging inclusion.
The event is also an opportunity to share knowledge, research findings and innovative practices related to diversity and inclusion, details on participating with a scientific paper can be found here.
More details and the preliminary agenda of the event are available here.
