Double Degree Agreement
To participate in this programme, candidates must be enrolled in the master’s programme at their home institution. Upon request and after a selection procedure, students seeking to obtain the double degree are required to spend one semester at the host institution, earning no fewer than 30 ECTS. The host institution will fully recognize the ECTS earned at the home institution, allowing students to accumulate the 120 ECTS required to obtain the master’s degree from both institutions.
The students who fulfill all the programme’s requirements – completing the coursework, including any required work experience, earning sufficient credits, defending a master thesis, and passing the final examination – will be awarded the respective master’s degrees from both institutions. This will be in accordance with the students’ programmes at their home and host institutions.
All courses included in this agreement will be taught in English.
The recommended system for grade equivalence:
Romania | 1-4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | 10 |
Italy | < = 17 | 18, 19 | 20-22 | 23-24 | 25-26 | 27, 28 | 29, 30, 30+ |
Diploma
The master thesis will be prepared under the supervision of a tutor of the home institution, supported by a supervisor of the host institution. The master’s thesis will be written in English. The defense of the master thesis will be in English. The master thesis defense will take place at the home University with the presence (also with an interactive remote/online participation) of the host University supervisor.
If the student does not defend the master thesis within the legal terms of the academic year of the Home Institution, he/she will have to be enrolled in the following academic year and pay the relevant tuition fees at the home institution.
Following the registration of the master thesis defense, each University will award its degree according to its specific provisions.
