Our role In the University
The Vice-Rectorate for International Relations is responsible for policy planning and implementation in the area of internationalisation and coordinates the university’s internationalisation strategy.
The key priorities of our vice-rectorate is to inform and increase awareness, oversee, plan and promote international projects and cooperation that will enable our students and staff to have enriched academic opportunities.
The Vice-rectorate for International Relations works actively to establish and sustain the international reputation of Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iasi, to set up key partnerships, exchange programmes and collaborations with universities around the world.
Our Objectives
- Developing cooperation agreements according to the requirements of the two partners;
- Increasing the involvement of the university in national and international projects;
- Supporting the student associations involved in international activities;
- Helping international and Erasmus+ students adjust to life at our university and in Iasi by providing general information on daily living.
- Administering and promoting the Erasmus + programme;
- Administering and promoting mobilities of TUIASI academic staff and students;
- Dealing with promotional activities for Asachi university’s English-taught study programmes;
- Organizing specific activities in order to promote the university;
- Developing marketing strategies to increase the international visibility of the university
- Creating content and graphic design for marketing materials and updating website content to promote internationalization;
Our Departaments
The Erasmus+ International Relations Office
The Erasmus + International Relations Office coordinates TUIASI’s Erasmus+ mobility programme, connecting students and academic staff with partner institutions across Europe.
It manages outgoing and incoming mobilities forstudent and staff, ensuring a smooth and transparent process from application to completion. The Office provides guidance and support at every stage. It also fosters international partnerships, agreements, memorandum of Understanding, that expand study and cooperation opportunities for the entire university community.
