High-Level Recognition

The report mentions the active role of the project in key chapters, highlighting the positive impact of DocTalent4EU in:

  • developing relevant results for ERA Action 3 (Amplifying Access to Research and Innovation Excellence across the Union);
  • supporting the implementation of the New European Framework through the development of transversal skills training and the establishment of Talent Management Centers;
  • ERA Action 4 (Promoting attractive and sustainable research careers, balanced talent circulation, and international, transdisciplinary, and intersectoral mobility across the ERA) by contributing to the development of the European framework for research careers.

About DocTalent4EU: The Future of Researchers Starts in Iași

The project DocTalent4EU: Transforming Europe Through Doctoral Talent and Skills Recognition was coordinated locally by Prof. Dr. Eng. Alina Adriana Minea.

The project aimed to boost the employability of doctoral students by:

  • improving employability through a strong, visible and innovative recognition system;
  • enhancing the most in-demand transferable skills acquired by Early Career Researchers (ECRs) through doctoral training and research activities.
  • developing the Talent Management Centre (CMT TUIASI), a structure dedicated exclusively to career counselling for PhD students and postdoctoral researchers.

”The inclusion of the DocTalent4EU project, in which “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iași was a partner, in this report places our university and Romania in a privileged position within the European academic landscape. It demonstrates that our talent management solutions serve as models of best practice at Union level” said Prof. Alina Minea, the project coordinator at TUIASI.
