The newest edition of Erasmus Open Doors 2026, organized by TUIASI’s Vice-Rectorate of International Relations, brought together many students eager to learn more about studying or training abroad through Erasmus+. The event created an open and dynamic atmosphere, filled with questions, ideas, and curiosity about international opportunities.
What students explored during the event
Throughout the sessions, participants discovered essential information about:
- How Erasmus+ mobilities work
Erasmus faculty coordinators and the TUIASI International team explained mobility types, eligibility criteria, and how the program supports both study and traineeship periods abroad.
Students received practical advice on preparing their application, selecting partner universities, understanding the selection calendar, and navigating the administrative process.
- Study and traineeship opportunities abroad
The event highlighted popular destinations, partner institutions and opportunities available through the INGENIUM European University Alliance.
- Real experiences from TUIASI students
Erasmus student ambassadors shared honest stories, useful recommendations and insights from their completed mobilities—a part of the event that students appreciated for its authenticity.
Who joined the discussions
This year’s edition brought together:
- Erasmus coordinators from all faculties
- the TUIASI International team
- ESN Iași, offering insights on community and student life abroad
- AIESEC Iași, presenting volunteering and internship options
- Erasmus student ambassadors with recent mobility experience
Their presence created a friendly space where students could receive tailored answers and guidance.
Networking and future plans
The final networking session encouraged open discussions, idea exchange and connections between students and staff. Many participants left with clearer plans and renewed motivation to apply for Erasmus+.
