Mobility options for EU Students

Students from Erasmus+ European partner universities may spend 1 or 2 semesters at our university within the Erasmus+ Programme. Your student mobility can be in any subject area or academic discipline, available in our university.

As a student you can enroll in the programme for:

  • a study period for a semester or for an entire academic year;
  • a traineeship (work placement)  in our university. The traineeships should be an integrated part of the student’s study programme.

Step by step application guideline

1. Check eligibility

To participate in a mobility opportunity at TUIASI, there must be an Erasmus+ agreement signed between your home university and our university, for your field of study.

2. Get nominated

Then you must be nominated for an Erasmus+ mobility at “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iași by your university.

Contact your university’s International Office for this step.

All nominations should be submitted by e-mail at the address: doina-mirela.tiron@staff.tuiasi.ro with the following information:

  • Name of the student:
  • Date of birth:
  • ID/ passport number:
  • Study programme;
  • Level of study
  • Period of stay: autumn semester/ spring semester/ entire academic year
  • Email address:

3. Choose your courses

Together with your teachers / tutors you must choose your prefered courses available for the semester you are having the study exchange.

4. Start online application

Once nominated you will receive an e-mail from TUIASI with the application procedure and you will have to start the online application process HERE >

5. Upload Required Documents

The following documents must be uploaded online with your application:

  • Scanned passport/ID
  • Transcript of Records
  • English language certificate (minimum B1 level)
  • The Learning Agreement completed and signed by your home university with selected course units.

Accomodation Options

Erasmus+ students can be accommodated in “Tudor Vladimirescu” University Campus, Residence Hall T8, as follows:

  • A place in a double room with own bathroom, internet, study rooms, laundry, and a shared kitchen on each floor
  • Campus facilities: sports, cafeteria, medical center, and more
