On 5 February, Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iasi (TUIASI) delivered a compelling presentation at the INGENIUM Virtual Lunch Seminar, connecting with over 40 participants worldwide. This online event, part of an ongoing INGENIUM Alliance series, highlights the partners’ unique offerings and opportunities for international students and staff.
The event provided a platform for TUIASI to showcase its strengths and connect with potential exchange students, degree-seeking students, and staff from across the INGENIUM Alliance.
The presentation provided useful insights into academic programmes, application procedure for Eramus+ incoming students, TUIASI research cooperation capabilities & opportunities, Buddy System team’s support and activities for international students, along with a glimpse into the rich cultural and historical heritage of Iași city were all shared with the attendees.
During the presentation, TUIASI representatives highlighted several key aspects of the university:
- Diverse Academic Programmes: TUIASI provides a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes, including 12 fully-taught in English study programmes;
- International Opportunities: The university actively encourages student and staff mobility through exchange programs and collaborations within the INGENIUM Alliance and beyond;
- Student Life and Vibrant campus community: TUIASI boasts a thriving student community and vibrant campus life, with a very active Buddy Students team which provide valuable insights into university and the city life, helping incoming and international students feeling included and fostering a sense of belonging to TUIASI community;
- Research and Innovation: TUIASI is committed to cutting-edge research and innovation, providing international students and staff with opportunities to engage in impactful projects.
Interactive Engagement with Slido
To make the session more interactive, participants were invited to respond to two engaging questions via Slido:
